These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SwitchAdmin website and services operated by SwitchAdmin Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16965698) ("Company", "we", "our", "us").
By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
SwitchAdmin provides:
- Business energy Change of Tenancy administration
- Energy supplier liaison and negotiation
- Energy contract comparison and arrangement
- Previous tenant debt clearance assistance
Our services are provided to UK-based businesses and are free of charge to clients. We receive commission from energy suppliers when contracts go live.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be a UK-based business or sole trader
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have authority to enter agreements on behalf of the business
- Provide accurate and truthful information
4. Letter of Authority
By signing our Letter of Authority (LoA), you authorise SwitchAdmin to:
- Act as your representative with energy suppliers
- Access information about your energy supply
- Register Change of Tenancy on your behalf
- Negotiate rates and contracts on your behalf
- Submit contract applications on your behalf
The LoA is legally binding and represents your genuine authorisation. You may revoke it at any time by contacting us in writing.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Have legitimate authority over the property in question
- Notify us of any changes to your circumstances
- Respond to our communications in a timely manner
- Not use our services for any unlawful purpose
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While we work diligently on every case, we cannot guarantee:
- Specific outcomes with energy suppliers
- Clearance of all previous tenant debts
- Particular energy rates or contract terms
- Specific timelines for resolution
Energy supplier decisions are beyond our control, but we will keep you informed and explore all available options.
7. Pricing and Payment
Our services are provided free of charge to clients. We earn commission from energy suppliers when contracts are successfully arranged. This commission does not affect the rates you receive.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on our website belong to SwitchAdmin Ltd or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwitchAdmin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount of any commission we receive in connection with your case.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SwitchAdmin from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of our services.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. You may revoke your Letter of Authority by contacting us in writing. We may terminate services if you breach these Terms.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall first be addressed through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to active clients. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
